Words are not enough to express how extraordinarily lucky I am to be blessed with an extraordinary friend.
When I left home for the first time I was unaware that I am destined to meet a friend with whom I can share every second of my life, to whom I can look up to when I miss my family, when i feel like crying, with whom I can share my happiness my success, my failures, who accepts me with my dark side.

What she does best is to give her million dollar smile, a smile that can set everything right. Showing the caring person inside and that smile can accomplish miracles.
But lets get acquainted with other mood of hers

She loves sleeping but only in cars and buses. When at home she is too active and keeps on shouting " I am a complan girl"

Well now she is angry and you will know that when she says " Don't do that i don't like it" 

She is an amazing cook , naturally talented artist (pictures pending ) and a great human being (no picture of that but you will know her once you met her)

. 

The heart of this angelic person  has been captivated by the love of  her life and her life of fairy tale starts with him. 

U are some one who laughed at my stories even when they were nothing to be talked about and sympathizes with my troubles even when they are nothing to be thought about.

 I LOVE YOU MY DEAREST FRIEND

On this friendship day I promise you there is nothing I would not do for You and we will be friends forever. We might not see each other every day now but I will be always there for you as you were for me. 

Immensity of nature (Rain)

This post is for all the souls who have lost love in the immensity of nature. To all who spends more time with computer than families.

      There’s nothing I love more than a good thunderstorm and the sound of rain and the way the house goes all dark and cozy and hot tea become suddenly quite necessary. Doesn't it sound pretty heavenly if it is complimented with some good old music? Isn't it like the touch of God? Descending from heaven, fulfilling its own nature, which is to fall and fall.

     Rain makes our heart go romantic. Its first few drops can bring smile in your face and the slosh of puddles under our feet can make us dance with wanton joy. What I want to show is not the rain but those silver liquid drops that quenches the thirst of longing hearts. Seeing a droplet of rain on a leaf we can find our morning.

      I have been collecting photograph of rain drops accumulated on different objects and its has been a journey in beauty. I hope you will enjoy and this can make you go out to rejoice with the inexplicable  beauty of nature.

Rhynchostylis retusa commonly known as kopou phool is a seasonal  flower of Assam and an integral part of a Bihu dancer's attire. This orchid has a bunch consisting of more than 100 pink - spotted white flowers.

 Butterflies are self propelled flowers. they enhance they beauty of a garden and makes the onlookers  ecstasy

Day spent witnessing Nyokum

A phone call and I was here in no time. The excitement of seeing a festival that decapitate a mithun (domesticated form of Indian bison) was immense. The thrill was at its heights when i reached the place. The whole ground was in a colorful mood. Everyone male female in their traditional attire waiting for the ceremony to start.

Nyokum is a festival celebrated by the Nyishi people principaly found in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It can be described as a festival celebrated to invite all the God and Goddess of the universe to a particular place to provide productivity prosperity happiness to all human beings of the earth.

The main prayer structure is made of bamboo known as "YUGANG" where animals are tethered.

The stage is all set but we are stiil waiting for the guest of honor to arrive to grace the occasion. So i decide to stroll the place and get more flavor out from the place. The stalls mainly consist of different garments and accessories worn by them.

Adding to the chromaticity of nyokum  is the exquisite Ice-cream enjoyed by the kids. There is nothing more soul-stirring surprise than the first adventure with ice-cream. And how can i pass by without clicking them.

Finally it was time for the ceremony to begin. It started with different dances performed by the girls. Though i  was not able to grasp the meaning of the songs the smile on their faces gave the impression that they are enjoying a lot. There was singing and dancing before the head priest or 'Nyubh' comes with his attendents to perform the rituals. And finally at the end rice beer or known as apong are distributed among the guests.
